This month we will gather to remember and celebrate the great sacrifice and great victory of Jesus' death and resurrection. In dying for our sins, the greatest burden Jesus bore was not His excrutiating physical death but the unimaginable burden of bearing the weight of every sin and as He bore those sins to experience separation from the Father. In His resurrection, Jesus demonstrated power so great that it forever conquered death for those who believe in and follow Him. How amazing! That is why His church proclaims on Easter Sunday that, "He is risen, indeed!"
